This gorgeous bride-to-be was a stunner in every outfit she pulled out of her bag! She chose some great textures and colors for her session, that transferred very well into the little black book included in her boutique boudoir package. Her groom will receive a 6×6″ silk cover black book on their wedding day, and I’m sure he’s going to love it!
I’ve cut back a bit on the number of hotel boudoir mini sessions I’m doing throughout the year, and trying to disperse them during the times of the year that most people ask — right before Valentine’s Day, right before wedding season, and right before Christmas! It seemed to have paid off as I had a full slate of beautiful women signed up for my May mini sessions, and they brought their “A” games!
We had everything from Cubs jerseys to comic book underwear to hot heels to lacy and racy robes to the super sexy bra and panties sets. As always, Brittany did a fabulous job on everyone’s makeup, tailoring it to their specific wants and needs. I can’t wait to see what the November mini sessions this year bring!!
Oh my goodness… these two clients were OUTSTANDING! They both had awesome ideas that we incorporated into their sessions at a local Champaign hotel. First, miss D brought her handgun because she thought her guy would think it was uber-sexy (she’s licensed!). She also had this amazing “You’re on my to-do list” tank from Victoria’s Secret that I later went out and bought for myself — ha! Then, miss S was a little bit nervous when she showed up to her session, but she settled in great and did an awesome job posing for me. I loved her addition of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat to her session. Great job, ladies!!
I’m so behind on blogging for my boudoir sessions! Sorry I have been neglecting this blog! I have tossed around the idea of making a private Facebook group for ladies only so that I can show more images there (and potentially even with faces!!). I will still post here to get the good blogging mojo, but I’d love the chance to be able to show off more images privately, especially since my makeup artists do such a beautiful job making my clients look their absolute best. Today is kind of a throwback, since these photos were taken LAST YEAR, but I loved some of the outfits this lovely lady chose, especially her plaid lingerie set that is a nod to the “school uniform” look and makes me think of early Britney Spears!! :)
May brought another amazing set of ladies to participate in my hotel mini boudoir sessions. I had a record EIGHT clients in 7 days, which is crazy! Three of them did full sessions and five were mini sessions at two different hotels. I love all the different approaches to the session I found with each of these clients — two of them were surprising their boyfriends who are both away in the military, a couple are presenting little black books to their fiances as their wedding-day gifts, one has been working double-time in the gym, one wanted to tell a story with her outfits and their order, and the others were doing it just for fun, but had a very clear vision of what they wanted their final images to look like. I love all the thought, planning, outfit-buying, and mental preparation that these women have been putting into their sessions! It makes my job just that much better, so thank you, ladies!!
